iPad no login possible

Dear all
I have a strange phenomenon and have had it for a while. I didn’t bother with it at first because I thought it would go away with an update.
When I try to log in to my PLEX account with my iPad (with the latest software), I get the message “User could not be authenticated”. Try again. All further attempts remain equally unsuccessful.
All other devices work perfectly, including SONOS.
What can I do?

Is this the only solution?
It works on all other devices.

iOS has different restrictions.
