I know that Germany is ahead in introducing ipv6 and there is no hurry for the rest of the world (and TG I don't need it yet)
But you should move your ass and start right now developing real ipv6 support!!!
3 GOOD REASONS:
For the rest you are awesome!!!
+1 for ipv6 on myPlex Service

I desperatly need this, too. Or since I got a static IPv6 I would be even happy if there would be an option to specify a shared IPv6 server in each Client App (like PHT) manually. Although a full integrated solution via the myPlex Servers would be preferred.

+1 too. Would love to use Plex from outside

Cannot believe this has been ignored for a year.I guess it's better for marketing to push out new clients for the latest hot streaming stick than to get basics working...

Can’t stop the future.
some new update here? :(

much needed feature!

The fiber optic build-out in Munich (M-Net) is DS-Lite only.
still need it :( it's more a bug than a feature request!
I'm also very annoyed by the lack of support for ipv6.
At least i managed to setup a ipv4->ipv6 proxy so i can access my server from anywhere, but i would really like to sign into myplex. Is there any way i can setup cloud sync without signing in?
I need it, too. Unitymedia with IPv6.
I managed to use cloudflare as an free ip4->ip6 proxy and i can see the login page of my plex server. But the Ajax connectivity method used by the webinterface tries to resolve a direct ip adress and use port 32400 for communication. This basically breaks the proxy functionality... Even when plex is set up to use port 80, port 32400 will still be used for nearly all client-server communication. Don't know why this all needs to be so complicated....
For the others: Using hamachi works for me. You can install hamachi on nearly anything where plex can run. Downside is (at least for me) that the server upload seems to be capped at around 350KB/s. But at least its enough for streaming 480p video

I agree, it's kind of a "must have" nowadays

We need IPv6 Support for myPlex! Why do I had payed the live time Plexpass if the Users needing get ignored?
