Sure
Just do not Sync any media whos sizes exceed the amount of free memory on your phone.

Depends on how many movies and tv episodes you want to sync at once and at which quality.
If you only watch them on the tiny phone screen, you can use 720kbps or 1.5 mbps quality, which will probably allow you to get 10 - 30 movies or so onto your phone.
Depends of course also on the available space on your device. If it is chock full of apps, then you won’t have that much space for videos.
