I just encountered a show on tvdb that had an order category called “Book order” that I’ve never seen before. While looking around I found out that this is the majorly agreed order you should watch this show in. But I then found out that Plex doesn’t seem to support this as the settings for the show only provide “Aired”, “DVD”, and “Absolute” as options from tvdb even though the show has an additional type? I’m guessing that the types have been hardcoded and the one who did that simply didn’t know there were any more. “Book” seems to be an uncommon type, as I’d never seen it before the other day.
Is there any way to solve this ordering issue for me right now, or do I need support for this to be added? (I suspect the latter)
I can probably un-match the show and use local metadata instead, but I would prefer not to do that if possible.
Should I request this somewhere or does this post serve that purpose as well?
