Is it possible to create and maintain multiple, unique servers within a single Plex user account?
yes. you can be the admin of as many as you want.
Keep in mind that even though you can create as many servers as you want, you are still going to be limited to a maximum of 100 users across all of the servers, TOTAL. This includes Cloud Synced servers, Plex Cloud Servers and stand alone servers. If they are logged into the same user ID, they face the same limits. (And this means 15 Home Users (managed users) which count against the 100 total users.)
then I suppose my question is , How do I do this mechanically? I can’t find a menu item similar to File>New Server.
You set up Plex Media Server on a second machine.
yeah. cannot have two servers on the same machine. you need to install it on a second computer and install it like normal then if on same network the web app will detect the server on the network and ask you to claim it ( which signs you in as admin ) of the new server
