is it safe to update apple tv 3 to the latest ios 6.1.1 that came out today?

I just updated. Plexconnect seems to work fine. Dolby digital support is back in the netflix app (unrelated to Plex, but the reason I wanted to try the new version).

I just updated my AppleTv 2 to the new iOS 6.1.1. Happy to confirm that PlexConnect is still working................ :D

Hey Guys,

My Atv3v2 Updated to 6.1.1 this morning, PlexConnect is still working fine even after a reboot.

Be nice to see a changelog.

Looks like they updated the site to reflect the new ipsw:

Looks like Apple are still signing 6.1 ==> http://www.icj.me/ios/all

So you could revert back if needed.

the only info i can find on 6.1.1 is performance enhancements and bug fixes.
