New AppleTV 6.1 Firmware - Does PlexConnect Still Work?

So Apple just updated the AppleTV firmware again, to 6.1. Does anyone know if PlexConnect still works? Want to make sure before I update!

just says it makes hiding icons from the main screen easier

I can confirm that PlexConnect still works after upgrade to 6.1. I jumped off the cliff and landed safely :)

Yeah the new update freaked me out. I was in the middle of updating 2 ATV2's this afternoon. The first updated to 6.0.3 but the 2nd one updated straight to 6.1. The new menu option in 6.1 for moving the apps about on the home screen is quite cool.

Anyhow another confirmation that PlexConnect is indeed working with 6.1.

I’m still on the last stable jailbreak for an ATV2 with Plex installed. I’ve been missing out on a lot of updates because of it. Very tempted to abandon my jailbreak and install PlexConnect.

If you have saved your blobs already or use iFaith/Seasonpass to dump them then you can always go back ;)

For what it's worth: I stuck with that for quite a while, too, and was nervous about breaking a good thing. In my experience, though (and I'm pretty sure the experience of the vast majority of people), PlexConnect has been much more reliable overall. And with all the other OS updates now flowing in underneath it (like the ability to hide apps you don't use!), it's really worth getting off the jailbreak.
