Is plex down?

Is the plex.tv web app down? I’m unable to connect or load my server dashboard

Yes it is.

the status page reports that everything is ok. this is not true.

what’s odd too, is i got an email from them just now. i was already a plex pass for a few years now. since it started.

Hi. I’m having the same issue. PLEX works from all my devices and PC’s except for ROKU. I’m using the new ROKU Ultimate. Plex is indicating that it can’t locate the sever. IT was working yesterday. Again, i can connect to Plex from my phone, from my tablet, from my pc’s and on the server itself it’s working. Just not the ROKU. I even tried removing and reinstalling PLEX both on the ROKU as well as on the server PC itself. Thanks.

Your issue has nothing to do with plex.tv and everything to do your network and/or the trials and tribulations of adopting new Roku Hardware before Roku has the necessary 18 months to get it working properly.

I have full confidence in the lead developer for Roku/Plex and if there’s a Plex/Roku problem to be solved or work around to be invented - he’s already solved/invented it.

Thanks all. Seems Plex on the ROKU is back up this morning. As mentioned previously, Plex was running fine on my tablets and phones. That was over wireless and also data. I’m a long time user of Plex. Since it was running in every other capacity i’m guessing the issue was either related to the above or possibly there was an issue with ROKU. Either way, things are now working again. Thanks.
