Is there a Plex for Dummies section?

I am not tech handicapped, but I am NOT up on all of the latest modification and how-to stuff and I was wondering; What/where would be the best place for me to start?

I have a server that is up and running. I have friends that can access it. I know how to add movies and modify the names when they are wrong and I know how to add posters so my library looks decent. But all of that is manually… I don’t mind, but it’s going to take me a long while to add 1000 posters individually… I spent three hours on just A-C last night. Should I set up a stand-alone server and database to tinker with?

I have a million questions it seems. Point me in the right direction and I will read or watch any how-to articles or videos.

My Plex never asked for manually search for posters. See your agents for Movies and TV if they are checked maybe that is the problem

If you name your files right, Plex will recognize them on its own. (As long as they are regular cinema movies and TV series)
