Thank you!
I assume you're thanking in advance for any replies to the question in your topic title. :)
RasPlex uses the same screensaver as all other implementations of "Plex Home Theater".
While the default mode of this screensaver is to just dim the screen, it also has support for using randomized slideshows either based on media fanart, or on the content of your "Photos" section in your Plex library.
To activate this support you use the submenu: Preferences > Appearance > Screensaver
Here you must first open the popup menu "Screensaver mode" and choose "Library Art" instead of the original default "Dim".
Doing this modifies what you will see in the other popup menus, so this step must be done first.
Next you should open the popup menu "- Settings" and toggle the "Type of art" entry from the original default "Fanart" to "Photos".
In the same popup you can also modify some other aspects of how the photos will be displayed.
Note that you must use the "OK" button to exit this popup, in order for settings to 'bite'.
Finally you can use the command "- Preview" to see the result of the above changes by directly starting the screensaver in current mode.
At least this is how it is supposed to work...
Unfortunately some versions are partially broken and may still revert to including media fanart even when "Photos" have been chosen as described... :(
