Photos - Can you create a screen saver of photos on Plex

Hello,

I was hoping there is a way to display your photo library through your TV as a screen saver rotating photos randomly. I used to be able to do this on my Roku with a Picasa app that is no longer supported. It would be great if this could pull the photos from an online service like Google Photos. This is a great way to view those 15 year old photos of your kids you never get to. We found ourselves stopping and watching…

There’s no screensaver as in something that will start playing pictures after a few minutes of inactivity, but you can open your Photos library in the Plex Roku app and hit the random play button.

OpenPHT and Rasplex have a ‘Photos’ or ‘FanArt’ screensaver option, as the OP said, the Photos one does make you stop what you’re doing and guess when and where the photo was taken, similarly, the FanArt one is good as a little competition in the family - ‘Name the Show/Movie/Artist’.
