can I add them myself? edit a file or database or something?
If your videos are properly matched, that data should be automatically populated.
You can use Plex Web to manually edit the information (
> General > Studio, > Tags > Director, > Tags > Producer)… but that shouldn’t be necessary unless you’ve configured your library as Other Video in order not to use any online metadata.
As a side note… I’ve just checked and the filter you’ve described works nicely on my setup without any further editing.

i will give that a try. although it is unfortunate that not a single Ghibli movie i have has the proper info in it. i have them all, so you would think at least one would have been done properly.
How did you name/organize them inside the folder linked to your library?
I’ve got a lot of them and all have metadata added to them just fine.
i don’t know what happened but i was obviously doing something very wrong, because now its working perfectly.
