Is there a way to update RasPlex via SSH?

I have several Pi's running RasPlex and updating each one by re-flashing its SDHC card is beginning to become a bit of a drag, especially as this results in the config being scrubbed and having to be reset. Is there way to initiate an update (as per the GUI option) but from the command line via SSH?

Excellent stuff, many thanks.

Those are the old instructions, the newest are maintained on github:

This is totally defunct.  The update archives have not been "updated" since 0.4.0.  I'm sitting on 0.4.1 (fresh install) and want to update to the newer stuff.  So frustrating.

Why double post, see reply to you other post.

Sorry, I was posting on the main release in case this wasn't thought about.

I found this thread while digging.  I wanted to point out to others that this is no longer functional should they come across it again.
