I’m using PMS Version 1.1.3.2700 and Android version 4.32.0.455. I’ve been using sync for a while on that device (Galaxy Tab PRO 8.4), and while I’ve had issues actually syncing files, when they’re synced they usually playback fine.
I’ve now come accross a bunch of files of a similar type that can’t playback when synced - I get a black screen and the audio plays in “fast forward”, voices are high pitched… Same file, when streamed from the server, plays back as direct play.
So, 1. Why are they transcoded if they can be direct played? And 2. why can’t I playback the file that is supposedly transcoded to a more device-friendly format?
