Hello everyone,
I’ve been experiencing an issue with the entertainment mode screen saver for a while now. When the screen saver starts, it’s supposed to show a photo for each media item in my libraries. However, these are displayed with a black screen instead. The titles of each media are displayed under the clock, but the screen remains completely black. This only occurs with media from my NAS server; when a media item from “Movies & Shows On Plex” that I’ve pinned appears, the image is displayed correctly.
This problem does not occur on all devices, only on some LG TVs.
I’m unsure how to resolve this. I’ve tried resetting Plex and then the entire TV, but there has been no improvement.
I have a very similar issue. I get the black screen however i also get mixed photos for the wrong movies and sometimes the paused movie displays as the photo.
Never had the issue on my old TV but upgraded to a LG OLED G4.
