OLED65C1PUB TV Clock screensaver kicks in after Plex Client Screensaver

I have the Plex Client Version 5.33.1 Platform Version 6.2.1 running on WebOS on LG OLED65C1PUB TV. I love the Plex Client Screensaver which I set to show Media Library Artwork. Kudos to the developer who did that as its awesome! My problem is that about a minute after it starts the LG TV screen goes black and the LG TV Clock screensaver kicks in. I have found no setting on the tv which will disable this and was wondering since the Plex screen saver is continuously changing why this TV screensaver would kick in. Is there something in the Plex Client code that could be changed so the TV knows the screen doesn’t have a static display? Or should I report this issue to LG? Any insight would be greatly appreciated and thank you for great Media Server and client software. I am a Proud Lifetime Pass member.

It is probably one of Energy saving settings.

I am running into the same problem. Specifically, when PLEX goes into slideshow mode (for photos), this will happen. Meanwhile all video playback from plex will not trigger the TV screensaver (fireworks)

I must acknowledge It is not just Plex but other apps like screensavers on the LG platform do the same thing. I simply list the problem in the Plex forum in the hopes that the coders for this Plex client App may know of a way to report to the LG web OS in the codes instructing the TV not to initiate its own built in screensaver. I must also note that I know someone with a Samsung TV which doesn’t have this problem. The Plex screensaver plays with no interruptions.

FYI, my fix for this issue wound up being to root my LG TV. Once I did that I was able to disable the TV’s built in screensaver while the Plex App is running.
