Hello, I am trying to control my plex instances remotely.
I followed the different tutorial and was able to browse the library and list all the movies/TV easily.
Now I am trying to control playback. I think I setup everything well and pass the token, client id, target client id, etc…
the Play Pause, Stop functions are working well. I can effectively pause and start my movie.
(/player/playback/pause for example).
But the navigation doesn’t seems to work, I get a server 500 error. (/player/navigation/moveRight for example)
Do you guys have any idea ?
What client are you trying to control? Some don’t allow navigation.
Hello, thanks for your answer. I tried both on my plex client in my shield TV and in my windows computer (plex for windows).
Ok, so what exactly are you trying to do. You can only navigate the OSD elements. Have you already called up the OSD before trying to navigate?
