I'm using PlexConnect / support / Win / to install/run as a service on Windows 8 x64. I've tried both x86 and x64 versions of python/winpython and plexconnect will not work, but if I open up PlexConnect.py or PlexConnect.pyc, everything works.Interesting to note that if i do not 'run as adminstrator' cmd when installing the service I get "Access is denied. (5)". My account is an administrator.
The issue must be something else, I checked the logs and the logs are showing correct. I'll continue troubleshooting.
I also noticed a typo on the following page of documentation:
