I have a bizarre issue I haven’t seen before, I have 6 seasons of the following show:
Faster with Newbern and Cotten (2020) {tvdb-373670}
Seasons 1-4 are fine, all episodes match the TVDB Aired Order and show metadata. Seasons 5 and 6 however do not pull any information. I have verified all episodes in Seaosn 5 and 6 are named appropriately. Strangely, the episode ordering for the show under advanced displays “tvdbAiring (unavailable)”. However if i navigate to the show in TVDB it has all the information for Season 5 and 6 under Aired Order.
I would simply ignore this and use TMDB ordering however they only have data for Seasons 1 & 2.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated; thank you.
Have you tried refreshing the metadata of the show, and then verify the episode order again?
As for the difference to TMDb: based on a 1st look, TMDb‘s seasons 1+2 seem to correspond with TheTVDb‘s Season 5+6. not sure if they have seasons 1-4 listed as a separate show [edit: yes, they do: Faster with Finnegan (2020)]
Yes it’s kind of an odd situation, it was 4 seasons with the original host and then the last two seasons were two different hosts. So it’s kind of the same show. I guess if worse comes to worse i can try and split it as two shows I was really just hoping to be able to keep it as one show with 6 seasons as the TVDB entry has.
