I believe my server host has been IP banned by Plex. The other day I had a server change and I’ve had to install everything again. I couldn’t install Plex, as like I mentioned, I can’t link it with my account. I’d appreciate it if staff can resolve this for me promptly. Thank you.
I’ve never heard of Plex doing an IP ban, would be interesting to know what happened. 99.9% sure it isn’t a ban though.
Plex does place a temporary IP ban when multiple failed logins are detected. It’s to help protect accounts from getting brute force attacked. These are temporary starting with a few minutes and gets longer with each subsequent failure, up to an hour. It should be cleared by now as long as you’ve logged in with the correct info.
