Only noticed this today. When playing 1080P video via Plex app on Amazon FireTV, I get a still frame every 3 seconds of the movie and continuous smooth audio. Have spent 2+ hours checking everything and trying everything, all to no avail. Strangely enough, playback via phone app is smooth. Happens on more than one movie and more than one TV (Amazon FireTV). Requesting assistance.
So, I did some more troubleshooting today. Turns out the problem is primarily linked to my Fire TV Pendant device. When I swapped it out for a 4K Fire TV Stick, the problem did npt happen. It is also not happening with an original 1080P Fire TV box. Also, the pendant device has an app version of 8.24.xxxxx and the Fire Stick has an app version of 8.23.xxxxxx. Thinking someone may have broke something in the latest update.
