Hi,

 

I'm looking for a documentation on how to log in the plex server and what the endpoints are. How they respond and how to request JSON.

Cause it is hard to reverse engineer the Plex Web frontend.

 

The reason for asking this is, I'd like to develop a bookmarklet for my  Video on Demand provider (OTR) to check whether i have the movie or not.

Here is a code snippet written in curl:

curl -u username:password -X POST -H "X-Plex-Client-Identifier:" https://plex.tv/users/sign_in.xml

It uses basic auth over POST.

NOTE: The X-Plex-Client-Identifier header MUST be present.
