I have a HDhomerun as my tuner, and setup the Shield with extended storage, and installed Plex and enabled server. Accessed the server via a web browser, and did the Live TV/DVR setup. I even remotely scheduled a show to record, and it worked fine. At least until I went back to the Shield.
My Shield showed and can play the recording, but live TV and Guide do not appear at all. I must have missed something, but I just can’t figure out what. Any guidance would be much appreciated.
The grid guide is only available via the web client currently. It will get rolled out the other clients overt ime.
Should also be in Plex Media Player now.
Crap. I was under the impression it could all be done on the shield. This is what led me to get the pass, buy the gear, and so on. I could put up with scheduling via a browser, but the wife will not. Just been to spoiled on Tivo.
Is there any hope of adding this functionality for the Android app?
It will eventually be put on the other client apps but there is no timeline that I am aware of.
