I’m not actually sure I understand what exactly you’re asking for… would you mind elaborating or give a specific example for such a use case (e.g. emphasizing the current obstacles and how you would like to see it changed)?

Don’t use managed users for devices that are out of your immediate control. I can’t stress that enough. If sharing with friends, or for use on devices outside of your immediate control, set up another Plex.tv account instead.

Basically, I like to have my people on as managed users because of my own personal reasons. Sometimes I might need to kick a person off, but I don’t want to kick everyone off and re-link them.
