Kids Movie Area Without 2 Movies folders
maybe even just a filter that shows all the kids movies so we don’t have to separate movies into 2 folders
I have set up a user account for my son, he can only see and watch movies that I have specifically shared with him.
To do that I just added a tag in the ‘sharing’ tab.
For example, “kid friendly” as a tag to add to each movie you’re happy for your kids to see and watch.
In my home the age-filtering does its job. My kids have their own accounts, and I set their age access accordingly to their ages (ie. my youngest PG and 6, my older PG, 6 and 9), and every movie and TV series has it’s own content rating. Works perfectly: they can see what is appropriate to them without the worries of adding it to a specific folder.

IMHO, the newly added features take care of a lot… but as a long time Plex user, I just tagged their videos with an custom Genre, that way they can select the Genre and see just their videos.
Just an idea, and again, I’d probably use another Library today.
