Know which movies have disappeared after a broken hard drive

Hello everyone. Recently a hard drive where I had movies crashed. I can’t access it, it’s definitely broken.

All the movies were indexed by Plex and all the data is still maintained. How can I find out, as quickly as possible, which movies I have lost?

Easily identify all unavailable files

Use WebTools NG and export all libraries.
Then open the resulting CSV files in a spreadsheet app and sort by folder location.

Thank you very much, I managed to get the list. Unfortunately, it seems that Plex had already removed the “deleted” movies that were on the broken hard drive.

I think I have backups of the databases. Would it be possible to get something from there?

  1. disable automatic and periodic library scans
  2. disable “Empty trash automatically after every scan”
