Yep, sounds like the same issue. Downgrade to 1.42 to fix for now.
Strange, i tried to downgrade to 1.42 but it didnât fix it, should i have emptied the cache/codecs folder too?

Edit: Cleared the cache/codecs folders and loaded into 1.41 not working either.. not sure what iâm doing wrong.
Edit 2: Seems like my issue was different.. Found some logs that had [Notify] Failed to add watch for /data/tvshows/xxx (28: No space left on device) even though i have space, and running sysctl fs.inotify.max_user_watches=1048576 fixed it.

So, it looks like I have a similar issue.
Pms on windows 11 pro machine, I believe it started with 1.43. I first tried the new build posted in this thread and that didnât work. I then went back to 1.42 builds, cleared the codecs, tried again, and transcoding doesnât work at all: when I force transcoding, on android I get: error: connection to server was not established.
On plex Web, or TV apps, it doesnât show any errors but doesnât play at all (the dashboard shows playing but all I have is a black screen).
I went through logs during playback and all I can see are errors related to custom profiles, no transcoding failure.
I can see that my gpu is no longer being used at all.

Since these versions are 1.43.1 and now the official updated beta is 1.43.0.10231, will there be any issue updating to the official beta release?
This confused me until it was pointed out that this version is still higher than the latest beta that was just released. Guidance would be helpful here on which versions can be used for this issue.

the fix that was included in that version has been backported to 1.43.0. go ahead and update to the official beta so you can get even more fixes over the coming weeks.

Canât really provide logs right now but I have observed that ever since switching to the 1.43.x branch, transcoding will fail as long as a TrueHD track is selected. Switching to AC3 will start the session, though. So not really a hang I guess. Anybody else observing similar things on an Intel TGL iGPU?
I just tested on both Nvidia GPU and Intel 12th gen. No problems transcoding from TrueHD on ATV at least.

I have the transcoding issue that happens on my Roku after the update. I noticed that to fix it I just turn off subtitles and it works. This doesnt work for me when watching Anime though which needs the subtitles or for me to quickly learn Japanese. Not sure if this helps, but the latest version of Roku plex is having the issue, no other platforms connecting has the issue. Plex server is windows with nvidia gpu.

I installed the new beta for approximately 5min (reason below). Ran a transcode test off of an Avatar UHD Blu-ray (so huge bitrate and everything) â 8 Mbps 1080p HEVC.
Immediately saw artefacts and weird image glitches when PGS subtitles are burned-in on that resolution. 720p and below does not seem to trigger such artefacts.
The next second I was rolling back to the previous stable release.
My setup :
- fedora based lxc on proxmox. everything up-to-date.
- HEVC transcoding always enabled
- safari web player
Plex console is full of transcode errors when burning-in pgs. without them, no errors whatsoever.
Saw a huge bump in performance thought : from initially 1~3x transcoding speed in tautulli to 7~9x, so itâs a nice-try-but-needs-some-improvement work.

I just updated with the 1.43.0.10231 version but the problem is still here with (in french) : âImpossible de syntoniser la chaĂźne (aucun composant)â for example when I try to see Live TV.. 
And after that, impossible to see any film, I need to restart Plex Server.

I just want to understand this better. Are you saying that if you try to play Live TV, youâll see an error message and then after that you wonât be able to watch anything else, including non Live TV content?

If I donât restart PMS, I canât read any movie. No problem with music.

Anyone else seeing issues with EAC3 files?
[mp4 @ 0x77e33e489000] Cannot write moov atom before EAC3 packets parsed.
@chws the next version to be published to beta should fix this.
