After updating to the latest commit commit e6e032a737fd7de48947480be64004cde46bfbca plexconnect shutdown by itself and got an error.
Hm... DNS Server wasn't touched in years, was it?
Where do all those requests come from? Typically PlexConnect's DNSServer should only get pinged by aTV, maybe other devices on your local network... Is your server open to the world?

Ok, might be a coincidence then.
Just keep in mind, that this DNSServer really isn't designed to be accessible from the WWW. It's done to satisfy your own, local aTV's needs, nothing else. There hasn't been much thought about vulnerability from the outside and such.
Also, I know for fact that not all DNS services are supported - eg. really big packets, where DNS actually would switch back to UDP or something. Maybe you got hit by just that?
Long story short: Be careful. :-D
