Ever since the upgrade/s - Server and Apple TV I’ve run into problems that have been ferocious, daming and causing me to refuse to no longer use my Apple TV which, has been astounding until the recent upgrade.
I choose a Movie, TV Show select an Actor to call up related Movies / TV Shows - related inventory comes up. I go a step “deeper” to another Actor and hit back - am brought to the Main Menu, have to return to the Movie / TV Show share, go to the top of the screen and choose “Clear” to see the entirety again, then start over again.
This occurs in every Share unless, it’s in my Drone videos.
Today, lost internet for maintenance - Plex refused to work on either the Web App on my Linux desktop or the Apple TV as it’s endless circle shows attempting to “phone home” unsuccessfully. Once or twice it worked, but after a circle shows up and I try another video, that’s it no more success.
If I turn on DLNA, then use VLC from either device - I can watch / listen to anything.
I am a huge fan of Plex, Lifetime member since 2018 or so. The process of upates has always, until now been impeccable. The Q&A on this release was severly lacking as my family using a ROKU or Sony TV Application have stated similiar issues.
A note: Consistencies would be great too. Separation of Kids movies and Adult movies, when selecting an Actor under Kids - I see the Actors history and notes. Under Movies I just see related Inventory.
