Hi,
as in title, I would like to know if there is a way (maybe changing some .py script) to add a leading 0 (Zero) on episodes and season number.
Eg, “some_TV-Show S1E1” should be "“some_TV-Show S01E01” because all my tv and all my DLNA box or software are driving me crazy with the ordering; It’s “1 - 10 … 19 - 2 …” instead of “01 -02 - 03 …”.
I’ve already searched for the topic, but the only answers i found were all like “Try change player device /DLNA Client”… Same server, same files, with Kodi I get what I want, why?
I’m falling in love with plex, after years on Kodi, please help me find a way.
Thanks
Server Version#: 1.20.1.3252
Player Version#: none
Thanks, but maybe I wasn’t able to explain:
File names are good (most of them are named with filebot).
The problem is what Plex shows to DLNA clients. I miss the leading zero.
Eg : 30 Rock Season 1 Ep. 1
Plex shows to my DLNA tv and box : 30 Rock S1 E1
Kodi shows to my DLNA tv and box : 30 Rock S01 E01
I’m getting the exact same thing when I’m trying to watch my content using DLNA from my PS4 (Don’t have internet for a few weeks, so I can’t use the PS4 app).
Got it working fine, but it just displays/plays the episodes out of order. So it plays episode 1, then 10, then 11… then eventually episode 2, 21… etc. Is it possible to change this to leave the padded zeros in.
FYI, I have all my files named according to Plex’s requirements, and the files are all properly detected in Plex. It’s just over DLNA that this is a problem.
