I have noticed this too and flagged it here Episode Previews disappear when coming from "on Deck" but it seems nobody has an answer for that.
It just seems like the refresh of the window is not happening when you are thrown into the season view. At least on my TV you can see the little windows twice before they disappear. Further it seems that the episode is actually selected because if you press start it will play that episode… So for me there is something wrong in the app itself and nothing to do with the server.
