If you go to the LiveTV Guide and select a currently showing programme their does not appear to be any way to set it to record? - with the FireTV app for example there is a record icon I can choose.
It’s useful if you are watching a programme and then need to leave, as you can set it to record the remaining part.
Considering you have a Plex Pass, install Plex on your Mobile and record from the phone. Easy…
