Hi all. Just got a PlexPass, so I thought lets share my request here as well as on the public forum.
I don't have my server switched on all the time (mac mini), but I would like the ability to have my library available on my devices (iOS mainly), so I can see which media I already have in my library.
I would name this Library Sync instead of Plex (Media) Sync. Can't believe this hasn't been mentioned before, or I haven't found it.
Nice Idea. Btw. you can sync your Collection with trakt.tv and then you can check your library in one of the many trakt.tv apps.
Trakt.tv. Heard about it but haven't checked it out. Will give it a try soon. Although I don't like the idea for a extra separate app for this.

It kinda does all the work for you and it is just a plugin added to Plex.
Super easy, highly recommend it!
All i have done is marked old shows i already have seen as "watched". If/when my server crashes and my library info is gone i just need to sync from Trakt to Plex and im back in the game. No need for manual backup :)

You can see that some are "scrobbled from Plex" other are "manually marked seen". The difference is that "scrobbled" (in my case) are picked up by track when or after something are watched. "manually" occurs when i sync Trakt manually from Plex.
