Life after Plex Cloud...?

I have an nvidea shield with a 4th hard drive connected by usb. Runs as a plex server and is always on even in sleep mode. Use it for remote streaming to a few of my friends and familys devices and no complaints. I can easily put new content on it and it also does all the transcoding. Cheaper than a mac mini
