Hi, it would be useful to have in the Plex mobile app (I use the Android one) the ability to link new devices, instead of going to https://plex.tv/link.
As a bit of background, I got the idea because of this issue of mine:
The rationale is that normally apps are always logged on, but websites needs authentication (for cybersecurity hygiene, browsers are often set to clean cache / not save credentials).
This way the device linking would be faster and handy.
There’s already an existing thread/post asking for such a feature. It appears the OP didn’t vote for their own suggestion (neither did you ).
Please help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes and comment/vote in that other thread. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
