Linux music player with desktop integration

Hi,

I wanted to listen my Plex music on Linux and didn’t find any way to use multimedia key.
So I created a music player with full desktop integration, using nuvolaplayer.

I tested it under Ubuntu 15.04 with standard Plex music. I don’t have a premium account so it will probably does not work with premium Plex music library, sorry.

To install the application simply follow nuvolaplayer beta build installation instructions.

I hope you will enjoy this player as much as I enjoy it every day. Don’t hesitate to comment for any help/question.

Will check this out, just like to say thank you!! Been looking for something simlar for ages, just resorted to using the web player.

@SkyghiS this looks amazing!!! …however, its not working for me.
i put in the local address for my server but then it just gets stuck on the “plex” splash screen.
any ideas?

Hi @shuli I got the same some problem with Ubuntu 15.10 I’m investigating.
I have no issue with Ubuntu 15.04

Can you give me your NuvolaPlayer version and Os version please ?

I am also having the same issue of the player getting stuck at the Plex splash screen. Have tried installing both from .deb and git.
