How can I extract from Plex a list of video files and how they are matched?
So something like this:
Filename
Title
Year
Aviator (2004).mp4
Aviator
2004
Bad_Filename_Breaking_Stuff.mp4
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie
2019
Ideally with the option to extract further data, e. g. path to the file and director for the title

Check out the ExportTools plug-in.

Looks like just the think.
I was expecting platform-specific downloads but found none. A look inside the bundle showed Python files, so that seems okay.
Plugins are listed twice in the admin GUI. But I found no way to upload plugin-bundles.
So I followed these instructions .
I found no “Plug-ins” directory.
So I created the directory and copied the bundle there.
I restarted the Plex server. But the plugin is not shown.
Any ideas where I missed?
This article says, that plugins will be deprecated. But they manual installation should continue to work.
But it is from 2018. So maybe Plex has by now moved fully away from plugins?

Two things:
To get support for ExportTools, you should use the ExportTools Thread , since that’s where the Author of it hangs out
The Plug-ins directory is located below the Library directory
And strongly also recommend you read the manual before posting any questions:
And yes, ExportTools still works
