Hi.
I am running Plex on Ubuntu 16.04.3 Server x64 with a Hauppauge WinTV-soloHD USB tuner, streaming live TV to a Sony Bravia Android TV over a Wi-Fi network. Every so often, audio and video of the live TV gets out of sync by a few seconds. Changing channels seems to fix it, temporarily. Is this a known problem? Is there anything that I can do to rectify it?
Also, is there any way to enable subtitles for live TV? If not, is this a planned feature?
Many thanks.

Same problem here. Running Plex on Windows 10 with Hauppauge WinTV-Duo USB. Audio get progressively out of sync watching live TV or a recording.
This issue has been reported (in particular with Bravia TVs, but also with other Android TVs), so it’s been attributable to some combination of the Android TV app, the Plex Server, and potentially the hardware limitations of the Bravias. I’ve never had this issue on iOS against the same server versions. But, and maybe I’m just being optimistic, audio sync has been perfect since upgrading to PMS 1.9.0.x this morning, both for DVR and for Live TV.
As far as subtitles go, I suspect they’ll be available shortly. iOS currently has them for Live TV and DVR with the same server version.
I’m trying to setup Plex for my mum. She is hard of hearing and needs subtitles.
Currently she has an Android tablet. Any ETA on Live TV Subtitles on Android?
Thanks.
FYI - This is now working with the latest Beta version of PMS (At least on Windows version).
