Given what we’ve all been dealing with of later with EPG data, this is minor in the scheme of things, but its something thats been bugging me about the Plex UI for a while so I thought I’d share it and see if its just me… Movie and TV Shows series posters are in a portrait aspect ratio and episodes taken from screen captures are in landscape, which makes perfect sense as that is what DVD/Bluray cover art is in. Music is square, also makes sense, DVD covers are square. So why are the posters, normally captured from episode screen captures, for Live TV & DVR in a portrait aspect ratio? I cant speak for what IceTV is pumping out, but all the other guide data I’ve ever seen is using landscape episide thumbnails. Like I said, small thing, but something I wanted to put out into the world to see if anyone can explain what seems like an odd design decision or if I need to flip my TV onto its side and get on with life at a 90 degree rotation
