Live TV fails when new content is added to the library

If I am watching Live TV OTA and Plex finds new content in the library. The scan stops the live tv and seems to crash. A quick back to guide and play works. I have scanning as low priority, OS and Server are on an SSD. Plex Server is Ubuntu Snap version. It’s been happening for over a year. I asked about it on reddit but got no reply.

Do you have your scheduled tasks running when you are normally asleep? You should also check if your scan my library periodically box is checked. I have that off and have the Run a partial scan when changes are detected box checked. That way those background tasks are limited to when I want them done.

Scan happens as things are added and scheduled tasks run at midnight. So as soon as any movie or tv is added it is scanned. The scan is what knocks out the tv.
