When will Plex Live TV be supported on TiVo, specifically the Roamio?
I have never used a Tivo so don’t understand this question. The Tivo Roamio has an antenna connected to it so why can’t you watch Live TV using the antenna connected to the Roamio? I understand that it also allows integration of Plex, Netflix, etc so you can access other content but shouldn’t you already be able to watch Live TV using the Roamio?
I have TiVo in my main home and well as my summer home. I understand the versatility of TiVo (Netflix, Amazon, etc) which is why I have units in both homes. I have a setup in my main home where I use a HDHomeRun to capture and stream live TV via Plex’s Live TV & DVR option so I can watch my 200+ cable stations anywhere. I can watch Plex Live TV at my second home ONLY on my Apple TV and my iPad but NOT on my TiVo. The Plex app on TiVo allows me to watch my own movies just fine but it gives me no option to watch my Live TV feed of my 200+ cable stations.
I want to know when the Plex app for TiVo will support their own Live TV capabilities.
