I have grid guide on the desktop app but can’t get it in ‘TV layout’ mode - is it unavailable in this mode?
Plex Media Player on Windows with the new UNO UI is fantastic but still missing the TV Grid view guide…can someone give some guidance on timelines? Pretty much all other clients already support it… planning to move on from my Shield because of the upsampling issues with music playback…
Hello, I don’t know if it has been requested yet, but I think it would be nice if we could get for tv series the episode name of the item on the TV grid just by its title instead of having to expand the element in the grid to see it.
Sometimes several episodes are showed in line (the blog post have a nice example of it) and something besides de Season-Episode could be useful.
Any thoughts? Should I open an individual thread for this?
This is an example of what I am referring to:
Series name is “Ilustres Ignorantes”, episode name (sub-title item in the xmltv) is “El lujo”. Maybe instead of a dash as separator, a colon.

Does anyone know when the guide is coming to PMP “TV layout” mode? I’d like to use plex for our TV/DVR but not having the ability to open the guide or even just choose a channel is madness. Surely the one place you need the TV guide to work is in “TV layout”, i.e. watching TV on a TV.

Same here.
I use a NUC as my PMS running Win10…I need to use Windows PMP so that I can get multichannel audio, yet no TV guide is a bit of a deal breaker for a potential cord-cutter like me.
I have a TV guide on PMP on my iPad…why isn’t this available on the Win10 version?
Plex is such a good product … it could be just that little bit closer to perfect.
