I have a PC that I use as my media server. Ive set up and configured the Plex Media Server on that computer, and set up the Live TV/DVR with my plex pass and I am using HD HOME RUN as my tuner.
When I go to one of my PC’s upstairs that runs the Plex Media Player and connect to my server, I cant seem to find a grid guide. I can get into Live TV but its all just tiles, no grid. Is there a way to get a grid view on the players?

I have the same question as TwiztedTD. Are there any plans to add live TV and the grid to Plex Media Player? Every time there is an update I keep hoping… I prefer using a PC but if it is never coming I’d like to know and consider moving on to something else.

We are working to add the Grid to all clients, but this takes time.
Why is it wrong to respond when the same problems are reported in multiple threads? What is the harm?
It gets the message out to more people. In how many thread does PLEX say “it a work in progress”?
Shameful to make it difficult for people to find comments when there’s so much more you need to do.

Hi All,
I am with @Smokindog, but I have learnt that Plex Dev’s since using this app as the main daily drover for almost everything since cutting the cord on Subscription TV here in the UK, they seem to be more interested in adding the “Cool” new features which seem to be easier to add than fix and update the items they promised to fix/update over the last 6-12 months.
I’m currently experiencing with others too, on LiveTV erratic dropouts on channels, which do not happen on other servers, and it doesn’t happen on my FTA OTA DTV either, plus there’s the side of the live TV where it will come crashing to it’s knees upon trying to select a channel it will say “Unable to Tune, please check your antenna” or “No Parts”.
Then there’s the little gripe when other users are connected to the server either on Roku/iOS/Android on PMP/Web Client when they finish watching their channel it closes both receivers down on the device even when someone else is watching, this doesn’t happen on another well known server, but I use Plex because of it’s nature over the others.
The current TV Guide on everything that’s not PC is terrible, and trying to find the channel you want to watch, especially on the Roku and Xbox One is pants, plus it doesn’t show HD channels on the Xbox!
Anyway, I hope it doesn’t take a further 12 months till Christmas 2019 to get these fixed, and I do hope Dev’s listen? I know they do on other app’s that I beta test.

Agree 100% with TwiztedTD, it would be wonderful if there was a grid, dvr capability on the Xbox One app! Any update on when this is slated to be done…thank you!
