Live TV Playback Can Incorrectly Skip Last Part of Show

While watching Live TV in Plex by selecting a show in the Live TV Guide, if you pause the live broadcast to skip over commercials, the playback can skip the last part of the TV show.

  • Watch a Live show
  • Pause the playback to be about 15 minutes behind realtime
  • When the live show has ended (say 5 minutes after the hour and you’re lookin at the last 10 minutes of the show), use the right “button” to skip ahead 10 seconds.
  • Instead of skipping ahead 10 seconds, it skips over the rest of the show that you are watching and jumps to the beginning of the next Live TV show on that same channel
  • The last X minutes of the show that you were watching are “lost forever” since you can’t rewind past the beginnin*of he current show.
