Running the latest Plex Media Server on Linux Mint and using the web app on chrome… can no longer view Live TV, when clicking any item in Program Guide the only option is Record?
What’s going on here? I miss live TV!!!
Could you confirm whether or not you are using “https://app.plex.tv/” in your Chrome browser, and not, “http://Your.PMS.IP.Address:32400/web/index.html”?
Can confirm that today I tried this as well, my playbutton is gone using my desktop browser (Chrome at the moment). Link is with http://app.plex.tv/ . Glad I checked the forum, when I use a direct IP address, the play button shows up.
Is this a bug?
This really sucks and it’s still occurring, I still can only record not play. I’m using https://app.plex.tv/
Sorry further to this, I can confirm that if I use https://192.168.1.254:32400/ which is my IP it appears to work fine. This is a very annoying and clearly not as designed. Any chance we can get this resolved as I’ve seen two Plex versions roll through and neither have addressed this issue.
This is working for me if i go to app.plex.tv? are you local or remote when trying?

However, I see the same symptoms of only being able to record (not view/play) live tv in PMP.
I don’t usually use PMP, so maybe this is a known issue?
Using Chrome, Local I can’t access play with https://app.plex.tv/ I can only access play when using https://192.168.1.254:32400/web/index.html. This is so amazingly frustrating, I can’t be the only one with this issue?
Seems to be resolved in recent update? Not seeing this issue anymore.
