Ok, its glaringly obvious that I am not going to be able to run plex with my current setup with live tv because of transcoding issues. I am able to dvr them fine and watch later, but this doesn’t always match how I watch tv.
Current setup is atv4 and WD mycloud 2tb with a hdhomerun connect duo
If I got a shield pro, would this work for live tv in this setup without freezing secondary to transcoding? I would want to keep the atv4 as the client for plex rather than moving everything to the shield. Also, could I use the mycloud to store any dvr’d shows that I don’t want to watch live?
