Hello,

I’ve searched the forum to find a thread about this, but I have not found anything similar. Please direct me elsewhere if this thread already exists.

I’m trying to set up an OTA server via PMS, but first I would like some information on these topics:

  1. I know what the minimum requirements are to run a plex server, what I don’t know is what the minimum hardware requirements are to run Live OTA TV on a plex server. does it need trandscoding? I do connect the tuner with the server right? so does the transcoding happen before entering the server?
  2. are there good antenna’s that work with plex that could deliver me ArabSat channels in Europe?

  2. Plex has no official support for satellite TV.
    And no support for encrypted channels.
