Live TV - Supported Countries

Hi,

I have the HDHomeRun CONNECT, and was hoping to use the new Live TV feature, but unfortunately Israel doesn’t seem to be supported.
Any idea when more countries (specifically Israel) might be supported?
In the meantime - is there any way to work around the issue in order to be able to just watch the live channels on Plex without the EPG information?
(I wasn’t able so far to produce an XMLTV file through the various existing tools)

Are you on the latest Plex Pass server version? Should be 1.7.2.3878. If not you will not have Live TV.

That’s a question I’d like to be answered too, my country is not supported either, is it not possible to just watch without EPG?

Yep, latest version.

I can, in fact, start the setup process for Live TV & DVR, but when I get to the country selection drop down menu Israel isn’t on the list, and it doesn’t seem you can set it up without choosing a country even if you can live without the EPG and DVR features.

I can’t, as it doesn’t show up in the drop down menu. This is why I have asked the question… I’m interested in using the Live TV feature without having to provide a country, since my country isn’t on there. I don’t really understand why countries not on the list can’t be supported at least without EPG information.

There is a thread pinned to the top of the DRV and Live TV forum where you can request your country be added.

Thanks @johnm_ColaSC for sharing that link. We’d like to add more countries to DVR & Live TV, though its not as simple as flipping a switch. All of our EPG data is provided by Gracenote, who we license and include as part of the Plex Pass subscription. We’re collecting requests for new countries and forwarding them to our business team to look into. Thanks!
