Local Posters on Plex server, but video preview thumbnails on Plex on Google TV

Player Version#: 8.31.2.31546 (62043fa3) on Chromecast for Google TV

On Plex server (http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#!/) OTHER VIDEOS are showing “local posters and artwork”, but the same category shows on Chromecast for Google TV video preview thumbnails, but not the local posters that are configured.

My config for this:

  • Enable video preview thumbnails (only for a few videos that have no local posters)

  • Prefer artwork based on library language
    Use localized posters when available. This is determined by the library language setting.

  • Use local assets
    When scanning this library, use local posters and artwork if present.
