Can you please add a setting to the Local Video Quality to allow us to play back at the original bitrate, 20mbps is fine most of the time but I do have some things in my library with a higher bitrate and if my network can handle it I see no reason to force a transcode.

I’m adding in the Original setting from our other clients. Just be careful, the limit is there for the device’s benefit more than the network’s.

When you say the limit is there for the devices benefit, do you mean the inferior player you are being forced to work with? My copy of Blade Runner has an average bit rate of 11.8mbps but has regular spikes towards 50mbps, particularly in the darker grainier scenes with falling rain and lots of movement in the images. The Plex app stutters it’s way through these scenes but it will play without a single skip via DLNA.
